Nice use of random video! I'd like some more depth after all these flashes. Or a roundup of blogs.

Fair enough. Now where is the reaction, context and other links? This is almost more of a tweet than a post.

Stephen - thanks for linking to my GreenGirlsGlobal Blog; I thought you would want to know, I've uploaded the curricula for a Youth-Driven Green Plan I wrote for the non-profit I work with in Richmond, CA. It's a pretty powerful tool and I'm eager to get the word out to educators who want to incorporate it into their classrooms. Download the curricula here: http://web.mac.com/aprilcapil/MySite/Youth-Driven_Green_Plan/Youth-Driven_Green_Plan.html

Hi Stephen,
Is this going to the basis for your first story? If you did want to focus on the UK, think about anyone you could get a quote from? Who might want to make a call for climate change to be taught in British schools?

This is interesting - http://www.scotland.gov.uk/Topics/SustainableDevelopment/7502 I think the story is quite old, but maybe its worth finding out if its still happening?

Great linking - although the pic link is a bit overkill (I would expect a biography)! You can always embed the pic in the piece with an attribution link.
And a good fresh angle on the piece rather than just rehashing it. Mind you don't limit yourself to the UK though - remember on the web you have a global audience.
Nice that you're raising questions here too, showing you want to involve the reader.
Finally, about 'both sides of the argument' - mind you don't confuse 'objectivity' for 'equal say'; scientific opinion on climate change and other issues (e.g. immunisation) is very heavily skewed towards one side, but journalistic requirement for 'objectivity' misrepresents that by presenting two views as if they are equally weighted. Tough one to get right.
